Common questions.
How does usage-based pricing work?
Your subscription unlocks features at your tier and includes a monthly usage allowance for reviews and chat. There are no overages: if you hit the cap, you either wait for reset at the start of your next billing period, or upgrade to a higher tier with a larger allowance.
Live usage and how much of your allowance is left is visible in the dashboard, so you can pace yourself or upgrade ahead of running out.
Can I roll over unused usage?
No. Monthly allowances reset at the start of each billing period and don't carry over. If you regularly leave usage on the table, downgrade. If you regularly hit the cap, upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans cancel at renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't lock you in beyond what you've paid for.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes. Students get 50% off the Researcher tier, bringing it to $49/month.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. For Institution plans, invoiced billing is available. Get in touch.
What happened to Paper-Wizard pricing?
The Paper-Wizard brand has been unified under Explore Science, the lab which built it. Existing subscriptions migrate automatically; you don't need to do anything. Plan names changed; your billing and limits do not.
