How does usage-based pricing operate?

Your subscription unlocks the features of your tier and includes a monthly usage allowance for reviews and chat. There are no overages. When you use all of your allowance, you can wait until it resets at the start of your next billing period. You can also upgrade to a tier with a larger allowance.

The dashboard shows your live usage and the balance of your allowance. You can control your usage, or upgrade before you hit your limit.

Can I keep unused usage for the next period?

No. Allowances reset at the start of each billing period, and unused usage does not move to the next period. If some of your allowance regularly stays unused, downgrade. If you regularly use all of your allowance, upgrade.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans cancel at renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period that you paid for. We do not keep you on a plan for longer than you paid for.

Do you offer student discounts?

Yes. Students get a 50% discount on the Researcher tier. The price becomes $50 each month.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Invoiced billing is available for Institution plans. .

Did Paper-Wizard pricing change?

Paper-Wizard is now Explore Science, the lab that made it. Current subscriptions migrate, and no action is necessary. Plan names changed. Your billing and limits did not change.
