01What this adds
This addendum supplements the Terms of Service. It does not replace them, and nothing in it changes what you agreed to there.
Read it with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, which continue to govern everything else about your account.
02What your institution is told
The list below is complete. Nothing outside it is disclosed under this addendum, and the list does not grow without your agreement.
Disclosed
- Your name, as it stands on your account
- Your institutional email address
- Which of the institution's brands your address belongs to
- How many analyses you have run
- Which tools you used, and how many times each
- When you used them, to the week or the month
Never disclosed
- Any paper you upload, and anything written in it
- Any analysis, score, review or report we produce for you
- Anything you write to Rosa or in the editor
- Your projects, their names and their contents
- Your login times, your IP address and your device
Both lists are closed. If we ever need to widen the first one, you will be asked to accept a new version of this addendum before your institution sees anything more, and your access reverts to ordinary personal terms until you do.
03Why we disclose it
We disclose this so that your institution can administer and assess the access it funds.
That is our purpose and the limit of what this document does. What your institution's own policies allow it to do with what it receives is between you and your institution; this addendum does not speak for them and does not bind them.
04What it costs you
Nothing. Your institution pays for the analyses you run. Any subscription, credits or gift already on your account stay yours and are not spent while your institution covers you.
Your work is unaffected either way. If your access through the institution ends, your account returns to ordinary personal terms with your projects intact.
05Accepting it
You accept this addendum once, either by agreeing to it when you create your account or by accepting it on the panel we show you.
Not accepting costs you nothing and takes nothing away: your account carries on under the ordinary Terms of Service, your institution is told nothing about you, and the offer stays open.
